Radius Recycling Joins CMTA, Supporting Circular Manufacturing Supply Chains in California

June 22, 2026

Sacramento, Calif. – The California Manufacturers & Technology Association(CMTA) is pleased to announce that Radius Recycling has joined its membership, adding a leading recycler of industrial metals and materials to CMTA’s statewide manufacturing network.

Radius Recycling is one of North America’s largest recyclers and processors of ferrous and nonferrous metals. The company collects and processes scrap materials, including vehicles, appliances, and industrial metals, and returns them to the manufacturing supply chain as recycled feedstock used in steel and industrial production.

Through those integrated recycling and steel operations, Radius Recycling helps reduce waste and support a more efficient, circular approach to supply chains by transforming end-of-life materials into inputs for new manufacturing processes.

Manufacturers rely on consistent access to recycled and raw materials to maintain production and meet demand. Companies like Radius Recycling help enable that flow of materials, supporting efficiency and resource recovery across the manufacturing ecosystem.

“Radius Recycling is an important addition to our statewide membership,” said Lance Hastings, President & CEO of CMTA. “Their work in recovering and processing recycled metals helps support a more resilient, efficient manufacturing supply chain, benefiting both our members and the industry as a whole in California.”

“Radius Recycling is proud to join CMTA and support California’s manufacturing supply chain,” said Daniel Panitz, Commercial Director for Radius Recycling. “We are committed to advancing circular solutions that recover and process valuable materials and help create more sustainable manufacturing practices.”

CMTA will work with Radius Recycling to support a more resilient and resource-efficient manufacturing supply chain in the state.
