Sacramento, Calif. – The California Manufacturers & Technology Association (CMTA) is thrilled to welcome NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) as a new member, adding one of the world’s premier centers for space exploration, scientific research, and technological innovation to its statewide manufacturing network.
Managed by Caltech for NASA, JPL is responsible for many of the nation’s most advanced robotic space missions, including exploration of Mars, deep space research, and Earth science initiatives that continue to expand global understanding of the universe.
California remains an international leader in aerospace and defense manufacturing, driven by organizations like JPL that push the boundaries of scientific discovery and research. Their work not only supports space exploration, but also advances technologies with real-world applications in everyday life.
JPL will join CMTA’s Aerospace and Defense Alliance of California (ADAC), strengthening collaboration across one of California’s most advanced and strategically important sectors.
