Sacramento, Calif. – The California Manufacturers & Technology Association (CMTA) is pleased to announce that California Forever has joined its membership, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening California’s manufacturing base and expanding long-term industrial capacity.
California Forever is building the next great American city. Located on over a hundred square miles in Solano County, just an hour from Silicon Valley and San Francisco, it will serve as a major economic engine for the region, with the largest advanced manufacturing park in America, the largest shipyard in America, and over 170,000 new homes of all types in vibrant, walkable neighborhoods.
The project is expected to support approximately 88,000 manufacturing-related jobs and position Solano County as a leading hub for industrial innovation and production in the state.
“CMTA is thrilled to welcome California Forever as we partner to expand manufacturing in California,” said Lance Hastings, President & CEO of CMTA. “This project represents a major opportunity to grow California’s industrial capacity and create tens of thousands of good-paying industry jobs in a critical area of the state known for its manufacturing legacy.”
“California Forever is building the next great American city in Solano County, and manufacturing will be central to that vision,” said Jim Wunderman, Head of Public Affairs for California Forever. “By partnering with CMTA, we can draw from the association’s expertise and advocacy to help establish a thriving manufacturing landscape that supports innovation, job creation, and long-term economic growth.”
CMTA will engage California Forever in advancing policies that strengthen the state’s manufacturing competitiveness and putting those policies into action by developing new manufacturing facilities and creating thousands of jobs.
