SACRAMENTO, CA. – The California Manufacturers & Technology Association (CMTA) welcomed new member Cal EPIC to the organization today. Cal EPIC works to accelerate research and development of next-generation energy and transportation technology. Through the organization’s efforts to bridge the workforce gap in clean mobility and drive innovation among the next generation of makers, Cal EPIC brings valuable expertise and perspective to CMTA’s membership network of manufacturers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.

With Cal EPIC’s Ramp-Up Factory, a 25,000-square-foot facility in Sacramento, the organization provides hands-on training, prototype development, and small-scale production capabilities. Through programs that train electric-vehicle technicians, EV supply-equipment technicians, and other green-career roles, Cal EPIC is helping build the skilled workforce necessary for California’s clean future.
