Rob Spiegel is currently the Senior Policy Director for the California Manufacturers & Technology Association (CMTA).
Rob has specialized in policy areas relating to utilities, insurance, transportation, climate change, and taxation, among others. A 15-year government affairs, policy, and regulatory professional, he joined CMTA in October 2021 after serving as a policy advocate for the California Farm Bureau Federation.
He has served as principal consultant to the Assembly Water, Parks and Wildlife Committee, Assembly Agriculture Committee, and the Budget Committee. Rob has also served as staff to members in the California State Legislature and the state Congressional Delegation.
Spiegel graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a degree in Political Science. He resides in Rocklin, California, with his wife and two young daughters. In his spare time, Rob is an avid sports and automotive enthusiast, enjoyer of bourbon, and a protector of The Rainbow and Cloud Princess Realm.
