Rebecca is the Communications Director for the California Manufacturers & Technology Association (CMTA). She’s a creative communications professional who thrives on making the complicated simple and the technical approachable. Rebecca obtained her bachelor’s degree in multimedia journalism and public relations from Point Loma Nazarene University and has worked across editorial, public relations and marketing in the San Diego, New York City and Sacramento areas.
Prior to joining CMTA in February 2025, she worked at ABC10 in Sacramento, expanding local marketing and community engagement. Rebecca handled digital and outreach efforts for station-wide fundraising campaigns to benefit local nonprofits addressing food insecurity and youth development. Before that, she spent two years leading social media strategy and content creation at the Sacramento Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce, where she organically grew their social audience by thousands. While there, she worked on external communications and creative marketing for events, public policy, and inclusive economic development efforts.
In her role, Rebecca is excited to drive impactful communications, ensuring that CMTA’s message is heard loud and clear across California and beyond.
Outside the office, you’ll find Rebecca painting new projects, hosting gatherings for her friends, and trying new local restaurants.
