Vice President of Member Engagement

Katie Durham is the Vice President of Member Engagement at the California Manufacturers & Technology Association (CMTA).

Katie brings a wealth of experience in communications and public engagement to CMTA, with a strong emphasis on engaging communities in local and regional projects. A graduate of California State University, Chico, Katie’s early professional career was dedicated to community outreach and engagement, particularly in the realms of land use, transportation, and construction-focused projects.

Her commitment to community development led her to serve as a Resource and Development Manager at a non-profit, where she played a vital role in providing marketing and communications expertise to ensure the growth in both organizational presence and direct services to families in Yolo County. Currently, Katie serves as the Member Engagement Chair for the young professionals’ group, Metro EDGE, within the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce. In addition to this role, she actively contributes to shaping the local business landscape as a member of the Woodland Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Katie’s dedication to addressing the unique challenges and opportunities within her community underscores her commitment to making a positive impact on local and regional issues.

Katie is excited to join the CMTA team and bring her knowledge and connections to support and positively impact the manufacturers of California.
