Legislative Analyst

Ashley Hong is the Legislative Analyst for the California Manufacturers & Technology Association (CMTA).

Ashley has focused on policy areas relating to technology, pharmacy, labor and employment, energy, environmental impacts on manufacturers, and economic development. She joined CMTA in 2019, and is now a 4-year government relations, policy, and regulatory analyst, while attending McGeorge School of Law in the evening.

Ashley previously worked for the Riverside Transportation Agency, San Bernardino News Paper, and Cancer Legal Research Center. Currently, she serves as Law Review Associate Editor at McGeorge School of Law.

Ashley graduated from the University of California, Riverside, with a bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing. She currently resides in East Sacramento, California. Ashley enjoys exploring the beauties of Sacramento by hiking and wine tasting in her spare time. She is an avid reader, a self-proclaimed oil painter, takes joy in Pilates workouts, and enjoys helping shape California’s policies and regulatory goals.
