The 4th Annual CMTA Research & Education Foundation Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, October 20th, at the Valley Hi Country Club in Elk Grove, CA. The Coolest Thing Made in California Celebration (previously known as the MakingCA Conference) is an annual event that honors the state's most innovative and remarkable manufactured products. This event showcases the diversity and ingenuity of California's manufacturing sector. In previous years, products such as Northrop Grumman's world’s fastest microchip and Tesla's Model Y have been recognized for their excellence. The 2025 celebration will be held at The Citizen Hotel in Sacramento on Wednesday, October 22 during Manufacturing Month. The event will feature several speakers and a showcase of the Coolest Things Made in California, culminating in an awards ceremony to announce the winner of the 2025 Coolest Thing Made in California.
