National Manufacturing Day
Celebrated annually on the first Friday in October, with events continuing throughout the month and beyond, MFG Day—Manufacturing Day—is a national grassroots movement that demonstrates the reality and future of modern manufacturing careers. Thousands of companies and educational institutions nationwide are invited to open their doors to students, parents, educators and community leaders. 4th Annual CMTA Foundation Golf Tournament

Coolest Thing Made in California Celebration
The Citizen Hotel 926 J Street, Sacramento, CA, United StatesThe Coolest Thing Made in California Celebration (previously known as the MakingCA Conference) is an annual event that honors the state's most innovative and remarkable manufactured products. This event showcases the diversity and ingenuity of California's manufacturing sector. In previous years, products such as Northrop Grumman's world’s fastest microchip and Tesla's Model Y have been recognized for their excellence. The 2025 celebration will be held at The Citizen Hotel in Sacramento on Wednesday, October 22 during Manufacturing Month. The event will feature several speakers and a showcase of the Coolest Things Made in California, culminating in an awards ceremony to announce the winner of the 2025 Coolest Thing Made in California.
