By CMTA Staff

Capitol Update, April 18, 2013

On Wednesday April 10th, California EPA’s Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) released their tenth, and likely final, iteration of the Safer Consumer Products (commonly referred to as ‘Green Chemistry’) regulations. The Department announced a 15-day comment period ending at 5:00 p.m. on April 25th.  Note that comments will be accepted only in writing (by letter, fax or e-mail), must be restricted to the revisions only and must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. regardless of the form of transmission.

CMTA would welcome comments from member companies on these latest changes as soon as possible.  Please send them to our Policy Director for Environmental Quality, Mike Rogge at: mrogge@cmta.net.
