What California Manufacturers & Technology Association (CMTA) offers for their members

California's manufacturers face numerous challenges, including the nation’s most volatile and cyclical workers' compensation environment. The lack of a long term commitment by insurance carriers to provide California employers with reasonably priced workers' compensation insurance adds to the frustration. These are the driving reasons why CMTA partnered with CompWest in July 2010 to underwrite the CMTA Group Workers’ Compensation program. CompWest is an innovative insurance company specializing in California and focused on serving the manufacturing sector. They are so committed to CMTA and their members that they provide a “CMTA discount” to members who demonstrate that creating and maintaining a safe workplace is a priority. Additionally, their approach to claims management will produce the lowest workers’ compensation cost for manufacturers. CMTA and CompWest offer rate stability, safety expertise and effective service; all of which create value for CMTA members. Learn More
