Driving Directions from Sacramento Airport (SMF):
Approx. 12 miles from airport to CMTA office
- From the airport and other points North, take I-5 South
- Take the J Street exit
- Continue on J St. (going east) about 7 blocks
- Turn right on 12th Street
- Turn right on L Street (one way street)
- Turn right on 10th Street
- Entrance to CAPITOL GARAGE (1015 10th Street) will be on your right-side
From the San Francisco Bay Area:
- Take I-80 East towards Sacramento
- Follow signs to I-80 Business (Capital City Freeway)
- Then take I-5 North
- Exit J Street
- Continue on J St. (going east) about 7 blocks
- Turn right on 12th Street
- Turn right on L Street (one way street)
- Turn right on 10th Street
- Entrance to CAPITOL GARAGE (1015 10th Street) will be on your right-side
From Central Valley
- Take HWY 99 North to the 80 / 50 split
- Follow signs to I-80 West towards San Francisco (about 2 miles)
- Then follow signs and take I-5 North towards Redding
- Exit J Street
- Continue on J St. (going east) about 7 blocks
- Turn right on 12th Street
- Turn right on L Street (one way street)
- Turn right on 10th Street
- Entrance to CAPITOL GARAGE (1015 10th Street) will be on your right-side
CMTA’s Office:
- CMTA’s building is located between K Street and L Street; however, our building faces a Pedestrian-Only walkway. Cars are not permitted in this section of the street.
- You may park in the CAPITOL GARAGE (1015 10th Street) , located at 10th & L.
- From the garage, take the 11th Street Elevator to street level.
- As you exit the elevator, the State Capitol will be on your right-hand side. The CMTA office will be just across the walkway at 1115 11th Street.
- Look for the two-story brick building.
- Enter CMTA’s lobby, press the CALL button and your party's three-digit code.
