Highlights of the 2008 CMTA Energy Conference

State agencies are hard at work developing new rules to regulate transportation fuel, natural gas and electricity use emissions from all sectors of the economy. But California manufacturers still need an adequate supply of energy at a fair price to compete and grow in global markets. How will California meet the needs of industry and also achieve aggressive greenhouse gas reduction goals?

The CMTA Summer Energy Conference will bring together industry leaders, regulators, administration officials and legislators to discuss the latest energy policy initiatives and rulemakings, their potential impact on industrial utility rates, how companies should be preparing for new climate change regulations, and what incentives, technologies and partnership opportunities may be available to support manufacturers.
